What is Permanent Residency?
Someone who has been granted permanent residence status in Canada after immigrating to the nation is known as a permanent resident. Permanent residents are not Canadian citizens; rather, they are all foreign nationals.
You must have completed at least 12 months of full-time (or an equivalent amount of part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years prior to your application, and you must meet or exceed the specified language levels for the National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill level of your work experience in each language ability (speaking, reading, writing and listening).
